Logline: Wanting to find comfort in his fast moving life, Ahmad explores the world of Scuba Diving, facing physical and emotional changes In Search for Silence in the Sea.

CONCEPT:
Life’s Hardships - Committing myself physically and emotionally to a goal whilst documenting it. Wanting to see what I’ll have to overcome. I see scuba diving as more of a goal to reach, as somebody who has mainly lived his life on land. This documentary should showcase the struggles not only of a young adult, but the people around him.

Scuba Diving in Sabah - The ultimate goal of the documentary. Did my journey pay off in the end? From conversations with scuba divers in Malaysia as well as the monsoon season being in the way, Sabah is said to have the best locations for Scuba diving. That is why the mission for this documentary is to undergo training and changes in order to achieve the possibility of going to Sabah.

Struggling while filming - “In Search of Silnce in the Sea”, aims to follow not only Ahmad, but his crew as well. This Documentary is self-aware of its existence. This choice is to allow the viewers to be in the direct shoes of the crew and filmmakers on this journey.
